Connecting GitHub lets Public Surface mark deploys on your dashboards automatically, so you can see the exact commit behind a spike or regression.

Connect a repository

This opens a browser window to authorize the Public Surface GitHub App with access to the repositories you choose.

Deploy markers

A marker is created automatically whenever a commit is merged to your default branch, and appears as a vertical line on every chart.

Deploy markers can also be created manually from the CLI reference.
